WOO HOO! This is a great win.
MAF!
How can Real Clear Politics be posting higher numbers than the website for the Secretatry of State?
Like right now:
RCP
Cruz 325,061
Dew 280,947
SOS
Cruz 312,488
Dew 272,040
RCP just put a CheckMark next to Cruz’ name ... declaring he won.
Yup, I realize that now. ;^)
Texas folks, this is going to be a big mega victory night for Ted Cruz and the Texas tea party. Cruz has already won the election, but.....the big conservative counties have not reported yet, other then the early voting tallies. When Collin, Denton, Tarrant, Harris report, this will be a total wipe out for Dewhurst, Perry and the Texas RINO “dirt bags”!!! Long live Freedom, Liberty, Opportunity...and....the great nation of the United States of America. Obama will not carry Texas, he will not carry one southern state. Couple this Cruz victory tonight, with the recent victory of Governor Scott Walker in Wisconsin, and it does not take a brain surgeon to tell you, Obama and his Democrat Party America haters are going down, come November, 6, 2012
Rex!!!!!!! I was just looking for you on TV! Thought you might be at the Marriott in Houston tonight. :-)
Gigantic HUG!
It was a good stab.
I assumed that the state had a way to determine the % of
registered voters who voted (via county voting records)
even before the actual votes were cast. For example
Voter A signs the register, then votes. Precient reports
how many votes were cast etc. Then the counting begins.
I would think that % of voters who voted would not change.
It would be consistent. So I don’t understand why that number
is changing, as well, unless that number changes with actual votes, and that precients have not reported ahead of time that 2000 voters voted in that precient voted today, for example.
Yup! And lets hope that his serious stance on the border is a vocal one and all this ‘strategic fencing’ horsecrap, and anu who promote it get leveled by this HISPANIC senator ;)
But I mostly pray that he does not get co-opted because he’s going to be getting hit hard from all but the TEA side.
Local CBS channel in Houston has called it for Cruz at 55% and AP is calling it for Cruz.
Ping for later
Local CBS channel in Houston has called it for Cruz at 55% and AP is calling it for Cruz.
Texas hasn't elected a Democrat to the U.S. Senate since Lloyd Bentsen in 1988. As the others have stated earlier, Ted Cruz is expected to defeat his Democrat opponent, Paul Sadler, in the November election. Sadler is an attorney who served in the Texas House from 1991 to 2003.
Great! Keep the “+” coming.
This is just excellent news for Texas and for Americat.
Tea Party has rocked our world! :)
Still waters run deep around here. The Tea Party is alive and well!
I’m saving my Chic-Fil-A visit for tomorrow :D
If you’ve not seen Bigun doing his happy dance you should be here right now!
