Some IE Hospitals are forcing older higher paid nurses into retirement. Probably going to replace them with cheaper younger nurses from abroad.
I was living in Germany for sixteen years (leaving in 2009). I came to notice that they had a serious doctor shortage around 2005 (there were a bunch of German doctors who packed up and left because of poor pay situations)....so around 2006/2007....they brought in foreign doctors (Turkey, Russia, Greece, etc).
Germans started to notice the trend. Older Germans refused to see anyone but plain old German doctors. Younger Germans didn’t care. I’d make a guess that one out of every seven doctors in Germany today....were non-German to start with.
My humble guess is that by 2020...one out of every twelve American doctors....will be a foreign doctor.....and we will grow to accept it because there is no other choice.
