The issue is that those seats were given out as political favors versus being sold to the public.
That’s correct. And they have no value to those receiving them, because they didn’t pay for them. Same with all the free stuff given in this Country. A few years back my sister-in-law bought a bag full of groceries and gave to a homeless man at an intersection. Later than evening she went by and he was gone but the groceries were tossed over the guardrail.
