The definition of economy (GDP) says that 2/3 of U.S. GDP is consumer spending and then most of the rest is government spending .

Wrong, consumption does not mean production.

No I think the real economy is manufacturing. The stupid economists say GDP is consumer spending and government spending (which produces nothing).
