Watching the start of the Olympics in London......Anyone else?
Well at least they are doing something that pertains to the Olympics (Chariots of Fire). I was expecting an homage to Department of Motor Vehicles.
I’ve seen some of the soccer; the balls have these pink triangle things on them...
It’s HORRIBLE. As if their country is all about Harry Potter and socialized medicine. Really that’s all UK history?
lol
Effing pathetic and boring to boot.
The Chinese put on an electrifying show. Sure they’re inhumane but they did it up.
Check out the percentage of muslims in your own country before levying critisisms like that.
I can say without spoiling anything that none of the 11 Doctors make an appearance in the OC. Maybe they’re saving him for the Closing Ceremonies.
NO. I'm too busy watching paint dry.
This “SHOW” is proof positive that people in theater and movies have access wo WAY better pharmaceuticals than any of us do! THis is just freakin WEIRD!!!!!!!!
Toss in something about Matchbox and Corgi cars too, they were originally made in the UK. BTW, mini-Cooper!
I WANT TO SEE ONSLOW from “Keeping Up Appearances”!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wholly second that. What in the world has happened to the British? This farce just seals the image of the decline of Brittanica. It sucks something awful.
This is crap...... What does this have to do with anything!
Quit Texting, kids and turn that Atari off!!!! B-)
Okay, this teen part is lame.
Watched the BBC One live coverage online earlier. I guess I must be one of the few people on earth who doesn’t know all about Mr Bean.
That coverage could have used some more narration as it was often not at all apparent what was being represented on the field. Some spectacular scenes, but it was pretty odd that they chose to highlight the NHS as a great British accomplishment.
Yeah!!! ONSLOW, ONSLOW, ONSLOW....”get me a bacon butty”
Here’s a clue for all: Sir Tim Behrens-Lee.
Boring, amateurish, pathetic, and a bit sad.
We switched over to C-SPAN to watch a Newt Gingrich speech, and then turned back to NBC from time to time to see if it had gotten any better. It hadn’t.
OMG they’re playing The Jam on NBC woo-hoo!!!
WTF?! This is HORRIBLE! What rubbish. How embarrassingly sad...
