The United States may break with a controversial tradition...

Long past time for us to put a stop to this crap of the left delegitimizing everything they don't like by calling it controversial—Arizona's controversial immigration law, Controversial Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Chick-fil-A's controversial stance on gay marriage, and so on.

It's not controversial to me that we don't dip the American flag. Is it controversial to you? I didn't think so. Screw these people!

How “controversial” is this tradition, anyway? I am unaware of any difference of opinion on this point of U.S. flag etiquette. Who, exactly, finds this procedure “controversial,” and when did this “controversy” start, anyway?
