Yeah, YOU did not want to count any material and arms if the forces USED them. IN other words, it would be “fudging” (your term) to count any Canadian contributions it their forces actually USED the material and arms they supplied. It’s not unclear — I am using YOUR terminology.

I initially misread as you saying Canada didnt provide forces!. No, the Canadian supplies I alluded to were ones we used. Not the stuff they used whilst in the UK 1939-45.
