We’re the ones that are following the law, unlike the criminals they go out of their way to coddle.

We need loudly and continuously point out to people the stunningly obvious fact that CRIMINALS DO NOT OBEY THE LAW and therefore their silly little freedom destroying initiatives will only serve to empower them.

We need to root out the “Gun free” zones and expose them to be the danger to the public they truly are.

We need to find alternative to those venues whenever we can and give people a choice.

If someone wants to wuss out to the PC crowd, they need to know that they will pay the price in lost business and lost revenue.

Indeed, starting with Cinemark theaters.

Well, if there is only one gun grabber, as you indicate in the title, then there is nothing to worry about!

People! The time has come to for us to push back on the gun grabber’s agenda.

I'm on it.
My family went to the range this morning (Someone honked and gave us a thumb's up while we were standing outside the door) and did about 2 hours of, "Range Therapy."
And I am now posting my thoughts on the local news websites -while baking bread.

See? Just doing my part.

(Oh, BTW...
The guys at the range said that they were PACKED TO THE GILLS last weekend. Three new shooters arrived within the first three minutes of their opening.)

I guess folks could always get some of these sticky signs made up:

And put them up wherever they see a "Gun Free Zone" sign.
I happen to know someone that could make them and sell them.

"Single acts of tyranny may be ascribed to the accidental opinion of the day; but a series of oppressions, begun at a distinguished period, and pursued unalterably through every change of ministers(administrators) too plainly proves a deliberate, systematic plan of reducing us to slavery." Thomas Jefferson

The either funny or sad part about this quote is that history very clearly shows that the British governments of the 1760s and early 1770s had no such plan.

They were mostly just profoundly ignorant of America and stumbled their way from crisis to crisis.

This particular batch of ministers was arguably the most incompetent in British history. There was no master plan to enslave America, but then of course there was also zero attempt to address American worries by a bold plan that would satisfy them.

We need to focus on state / local.

Published: May 15, 2012

Oklahoma will become the 25th state to allow the open carrying of handguns.

Gov. Mary Fallin signed into law Tuesday a measure that allows Oklahomans to openly carry handguns.

The measure, Senate Bill 1733, allows those who are licensed to carry a firearm under the Oklahoma Self Defense Act a choice: to openly carry a weapon or conceal it.

They look at each and every mass shooting as a golden opportunity to infringe the life out of the 2nd amendment.

Yes and the liberal mainstream media causes these shootings in the first place. It is because of the fame that media gives these mass murderers that these mass murderers do it for fame. the media know this too but the media blame Rush the party etc. but it is they the media who are responsible.

I would wager that this Homes character has never been at a range in his life.
I bet he is a “Computer Warrior”, I base this on the facts that..
1. His choice of weapons are classic game options, an “assault rifle” ( We all know it was just a semi auto), a shot gun, and a semi auto pistol.
2. No classically trained shooter would load himself down with a 100 rnd mag, when a few 30 clips are much easier to handle.(that sucker must have weighed a ton, but 100 rounders are "cool" in the games)
3. He picked a target rich environment, he didn't have to be a marksman.
If this clown didn't have access to guns he could have just as easy to fling a couple of Molotov cocktails.
And my last point is that IF there had been one or two CCW’s in that theater, the impact of a few .357/.45 rounds impacting that body armor would have knocked him around like a BB in a tin can.
IMHO

I’m sick and tired that every time there is mass murder like the outrage in Colorado, we have to wait and see how much of our liberty will be lost, followed by the next “Crisis” where we lose some more.

Actually, they keep trying and failing. Gun control is a toxic issue for Democrats. That's why Carvile is out telling them to quit pushing it.

“A static defense is slow suicide.” - Napoleon Bonaparte

“Hit ‘em where they ain’t” - General Douglas MacArthur(PBUH)

(”Bastion after bastion, considered by the Japanese Army impregnable and barring the way, had been by-passed and rendered impotent and useless.”)

As soon as an incident like this shooting happens, liberals immediately launch an offensive in support of gun control. Conservatives react by defending, which they should. But in the long run, you can’t just fight defensively and win. You must take the battle to the enemy.

But liberals are already fighting on the subject of gun control. To attack them in that direction, when they are ready for it, is to waste resources. Instead, we need to hit them where they are not ready, to change the argument to one of our choosing, that they are not prepared to defend.

In this situation, the argument needs to be that, once duly tried and convicted and sentenced to death, the Aurora shooter needs to be executed without the endless delay typical for murderers.

This is a weak point for liberals, and one where conservatives can hit them *hard* right now, when the Aurora event is foremost in everyone’s mind.

Not too many people know that congress can direct the federal judiciary as to what its jurisdiction is, and how they handle the appeals process.

If there is a Republican majority in both houses of congress after the next election, they could seriously speed up the death penalty appeal process.

They could say to the judiciary: “You can and should hear death penalty appeals, but they must automatically jump to the head of your docket (no multi-year delays before hearings), no significant delays during hearings, and you may only consider serious trial error and major constitutional issues. You may NOT interfere with HOW states choose to execute the condemned or other extraneous issues. The death penalty, in and of itself, is neither cruel nor unusual.”

If conservatives did this, it would rattle liberals down to their fillings. Every time they mentioned guns, it could be brushed aside as unconstitutional, then they could be counterattacked on the death penalty. It would be unexpected, and conservatives could score major points before they could slap together a response.

Waking up the people - This was reported after the Theater shooting...

Denver gun sales up

Gun dealers and firearms instructors in Denver are reporting a significant increase in business in the days since the July 20 theatre shooting in Aurora, Colo., which killed 12 people, according to the Denver Post.

Jake Meyers, an employee at Rocky Mountain Guns and Ammo, told the Post July 23 was “probably the busiest Monday all year.”

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation says that between Friday and Sunday, it approved background checks for 2,887 people wanting to purchase a firearm. That’s a 43 percent increase over the previous weekend.
