Ya beat me to it. With all the violence, murder and mayhem we see in the movies, etc., the first place to start is to regulate agains’t it at the movie theater . Hit the movie makers in the pocket book and things will be changed. Boycott all movies of violence.

I remember 1968. After the death of Bobby Kennedy the MSM blamed violence in TV shows, comic books, movies, the NRA, 5 shot bolt action army surplus rifles and “Saturday night specials”

TV dumbed down to kiddie shows for many years, comic books toned down the violence, the 1968 GCA was passed, all movies from the 1940s through the 1960s were butchered to remove “violence” before being shown on TV.

The movie industry said they would police themselves with a joke of a rating system.

As a result movie scripts were rewritten to became more violent and with stronger sexual content. Just give it an R rating and let the blood drip from the screen.

I remember seeing a western movie back in 1969 that was so tame you could leave the kids there with no problem.

I saw that same movie on satellite TV a few months ago and strong sexual scenes had been added that would never have made it even with an R rating back in 1969.
