Once Romney wins the election I expect him to do for Mormonisme kinda what Obama has done for black causes: Set it back a few decades.Perhaps in membership numbers in the US. The mormon missionary program is worldwide.
The point of this post is that trading Romney for Obama will just be trading masters...the power will shift to 12 old white men in Salt Lake City. Mitt and most of his fellow temple-worthy co-religionists have taken this oath in ceremonies in mormon temples:
“You and each of you covenant and promise before God, angels, and these witnesses at this altar, that you do accept the Law of Consecration as contained in the Doctrine and Covenants, in that you do consecrate yourselves, your time, talents, and everything with which the Lord has blessed you, or with which he may bless you, to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for the building up of the Kingdom of God on the earth and for the establishment of Zion.
After reading your post I think you can grasp what I mean when I have said, over the past several months, that trying to choose between Obama and Romney is like being a Jew and trying to decide between Stalin and Hitler.
It is really no choice at all.
