'I'm not protecting anyone that made my life a living hell': Teen faces jail time after lashing out on Twitter and naming the boys who sexually assaulted her.

17-year-old sexual assault victim is facing a jail sentence for tweeting the names of her attackers in anger at their light punishment.

Savannah Dietrich named and shamed the boys on the social messaging site, writing: 'There you go, lock me up. I'm not protecting anyone that made my life a living Hell.'

The Louisville, Kentucky teen told The Courier-Journal she was frustrated by what she feels is a lenient deal for her attackers.

It makes me sick that kids who commit horrific crimes other than murder—especially sex crimes—are shielded from publicity (”cannot mention the name because he is a juvenile”) and then get by with juvenile detention til 18 or 21. Unfortunately, the adult-sentence alternative may not be the way to go. What we need is more flexible sentencing and LOTS OF SHAMEFUL PUBLICITY.

i hope the boys feel safe now.
Say, is there a White Bloc?

Were the boys black who assaulted her? I see no indication of this. Anyways I applaud her gumption to defy this black robed POS

The “gag the victim” judge started out as a social worker. Seems she has held onto her beliefs that the “young men” are victims of their environment.

I hope that this judge wakes up and smells the coffee. She’s protecting the scum of the earth in this case.

If it had been one of my sisters or a daughter, having their names revealed would be the least of their concerns. The snapping cracking sound wouldn't be from cameras.

I wonder if Forgotten Amendments would be so kind as to provide a name?

Since he seems to believe that it’s ok to rape a girl and pass out photos of the rape to all your friends, he should be equally forthcoming himself.

If I get called, almost regardless of the case, I want on the jury. We need intelligent, rational jurors to keep our civil and criminal courts from doing shockingly stupid things. I am not willing to lie to get on a jury, but I most certainly will not do anything to dodge jury duty.

I never knew that “The Right to Molest the Stupid” was among the “Forgotten Amendments.”

I hope you don’t have any daughters.

The girl did something stupid. The punks who raped her were craven opportunists, much like maggots or leaches. There’s always the possibility that the little scuz-buckets slipped something into her drink. If someone is willing to take advantage of an incapacitated girl, how much more would it take for them to incapacitate an attractive target?

But I still say that she should have held her peace until after the trial.

Hey, dimwit, what part of pleading guilty to all charges don't you understand? There was a plea agreement, there will be NO trial, when a person pleads guilty there is NO trial, no reason to have one. Smarten up a little.

If the governor had any balls, he’d pardon her and tell the judge to go pound sand.
