You’re correct. Had he driven an SUV into the crowd outside the theater would there be calls to ban SUV’s and confiscate all the ones on the road now? Had he managed to bar all the doors and use 5 gallon gas cans to set the place on fire would there be calls to ban 5 gallon gas cans? Or ban doors that could be blocked from the outside? Typical lib blame the tool used and not the tool using it.

About 20 years ago a ticked off loon set fire to an after-hours disco/bar in NYC, and killed a bunch more than any shooter. Just used a can of gasoline at the door.
Where are the calls to ban movie theaters? Those people could have been watching Batman in the safety of their living rooms.
