It’s interesting that 12 people died, and the media is going nuts. Yet this is the average for weekend killings in Chicago, week after week, which get no national media mention.

In April a gunman shot and killed 7 people and others were wounded at a Christian nursing school and I keep hearing Obama at the top of the hour news talking about the movie shooting “tragedy” but I do not recall him making a statement about the Oakland shooting. I also recall the Fort Hood shooting and Obama giving a shout out to an audience member before he made remarks in that shooting.
