Uri’el-2012, the site you linked above is nothing more than an aggregating site for $cientology's CCHR-International generated press releases and CCHR-I tainted stories. CCHR-International is the activist wing of the Church of $cientology and distributor of very misleading so-called press releases.

A search on the site you linked for: Peter Breggin, M.D., co-founder of CCHR-International and one of $cientology's highest ranking members revealed:

Scientologist Peter Breggin, M.D. continues to be heavily involved in the disinformation perpetrated by CCHR-I:

Jeremy Perkins: A Scientology Family Tragedy

PerkinsTragedy.org

On March 13, 2003, Jeremy Perkins, a 28 year old untreated schizophrenic, stabbed his mother Elli 77 times. She bled to death on her bedroom floor. Jeremy is currently being held at Rochester Psychiatric Center, having been found not responsible for Elli's murder by reason of mental disease or defect.

Perkins, his mother and father, his sister, and her husband are all members of the Church of Scientology, a group that believes modern psychiatric medicine derives from an ancient alien civilization's plot to drug and enslave humanity. Scientologists like Tom Cruise vehemently and publicly oppose the pharmacological treatment of mental illness. Unfortunately, Scientology's own brand of therapy, called "auditing", is worthless.

Elli Perkins was a senior auditor (counselor) at the Church of Scientology of Buffalo, New York. Her son-in-law, Jeff Carlson, was the Executive Director of that church. Jeremy himself had taken Scientology courses there, and was even flown out to Los Angeles to join Scientology's paramilitary Sea Organization, although he was promptly sent back home due to his mental problems.

After consulting a Scientologist osteopath, Dr. Conrad Maulfair, Elli was treating Jeremy with vitamins, which he disliked. Within hours of Elli's murder, which occurred on L. Ron Hubbard's birthday, the Church of Scientology initiated a crash cover-up to hide its connections to the case. Jeremy's family has since "disconnected" from him, per Scientology policy. This web site reveals Scientology's true role in the death of Elli Perkins and the destruction of Jeremy's life.

A psychiatrist's perspective on the Scientology organization: Three articles by the late Dr. L. J. West

Psychiatry and Scientology
by L. J. West , M.D.

originally published in The Southern California Psychiatrist , July 1990, pp. 13-16.

The Church of Scientology began as a pseudo-scientific healing cult, Dianetics, described by L. Ron Hubbard, a science fiction writer, in his best-selling book "Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health" (1950).

At first, Dianetics attracted followers by promising to cure psychiatric and psychosomatic disorders through a procedure called "dianetic auditing," based on pop-psychology, hypnosis, and cybernetics. Hubbard's theory was based on the principle that people can achieve health through abolishing("clearing") negative influences ("engrams") from their minds by going back (often to the womb) on a "time track" while in a dianetic reverie" in the presence of a listening "auditor."

...
It is clear that the legitimate healing professions have not come to grips with the dangers posed by cults in general, and with the peculiarly hostile and antipsychiatric "church" of Scientology in particular.

Most people know surprisingly little about Scientology. Only a handful of books and articles, and a few journalistic pieces in the popular press, have been written about Hubbard and his organizations. In May 1980 and September 1981, the Reader's Digest published two articles about Scientology and its dangers. Recent informative books on Hubbard are: "L. Ron Hubbard, Messiah or Madman" by Bent Corydon and L. Ron Hubbard, Jr., and "Barefaced Messiah" by Russell Miller. An excellent six-part series about Scientology in the Los Angeles Times began in the edition of June 24, 1990.

Unfortunately, the harms done by Scientology go far beyond attacks on psychiatry or on critics. It is Scientology's membership, and their families, who are the most likely to suffer.

Many damaged personas are emerging from the cult, often with symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder including prominent dissociative features. Some of these refugees seek help from psychiatrists. We owe it to them, and to ourselves, to continue investigating the nature of harms done by cults such as the Church of Scientology and topublish our findings regardless of the consequences.

The late Dr. West was professor of psychiatry, School of Medicine, University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. West had granted permission to share this article widely

It is patently clear that you have an impassioned
hatred for the church of Scientology.

The germane question is are any of the reports
incorrect or inaccurate at the news aggregating site ??
