Hospital: At least 20 shot at Colorado movie theater [10-12 reportedly dead]

Police in Aurora, Colorado, say they've responded to an early Friday shooting at an Aurora movie theater. A hospital says it's received 20 patients relating to the shooting. Jacque Montgomery, a spokeswoman for the University of Colorado Hospital, said all the patients are suffering from gunshot wounds. Injuries range from minor to critical. KUSA: Shooting at Aurora movie theater CNN affiliates in the area report that multiple people have been shot.

Thus far we know Tenn. tags on vehicle. Have a name of James Holmes. Report of residence of perp was in southern California. There has to be more info out there, doesn't there? Am growing frustrated. There is so much info being held close to the vest on this. Also hearing a report of perp being let into the theater from inside the theater by person who may have been named.

Local channel 9 (NBC affiliate) recently said they aren’t sure about the TN tags, police were seen examining a car or approaching a car with TN tags near where the shooter was apprehended but now it it unsure whether the car belonged to shooter(s).

Early comments stated the suspects car had tags from TN. Why would TN tags raise red flags? Holder ordered the town to step down and allow the Murfreesboro TN mega-mosque under construction (illegally) to open for Ramadan which begins today. Aurora, CO is also the home of the Zazi terrorist.

My post was poorly wordrd. I don’t think it was the black guy, but it might be the white guy in my link. He does appear to be in his mid twenties, but also shows him to be in a relationship with a lovely young lady so who knows (doesn’t appear to be a loner).

Looks to be a bunch of misinformation being directed at the public. Also hearing same via TV. Also hearing conflicting reports. There is something (experience) which tells me early reports and then later reports both contain errors. There was running in all directions, which is common, when something terrible happens like this. Am thinking though there is confusion for a reason. With zer0 having been informed this AM, I am suspicious this is being dragged out, by the media, for a reason. There has been enough time to know which leads were incorrect. I do not have proof of misinformation. Yet on the board, one does suspect. I do call BS on lone wolf.

CBSDenver reporting police vehicles just sped out of apartment parking lot. Reporter thinks they may be going to a new locations, for some unknown reason. Reporter also speculates that they may be returning to the original crime scene.

I think I will start carrying when I go to the movies.

Even with a CHL, the law in my state prohibits carrying into any event where admission has been charged - which includes a movie theatre. For a gunman bent on mass murder, such an event is like shooting fish in a barrel.

I wonder how many lives might have been saved if one or more people in the audience had been legally carrying?

Yep that’s another lovely group of individuals that are not only actively encouraged to enter our country illegally, but also armed by our very own government. There was a case next door to me in New Jersey a few years back where the MS-13 drug gang was feeling a little bored, so one night they decided to enter a park in Newark and rounded up some school kids and executed each one point blank with a shot to the back of the head. This is the kind of sub human vermin our foreign national posing as POTUS wants in the country so he can further his agenda of disarming law abiding citizens.
