He considers himself a severe Conservative. I would not get my hopes up too much.

Hopefully, the pick won’t be as severe as him.

I have been on record as late as this week that I thought it would be a governor that he picked.

Now I think all the ducks are lining up behind Rubio.

I’m such a sure and steady guy.

2012: Romney quickly responded to an “angry mom” who called the president a “monster” that he wouldn’t use that term.

2008: McCain yank the mic away from an older woman, after she called him “an Arab” that she “couldn’t trust.” - McCain: “He is a decent person and a person that you do not have to be scared about as President of the United States. If I didn’t think I would be one heck of a better president I wouldn’t be running.”

Regardless of who he picks, I WILL NOT VOTE FOR ROMNEY to be POTUS. Even IF he did pick a true conservative, which I doubt, I would just lose respect for the “conservative” and still won’t vote for Romney.

GOP Establishment.....GET A CLUE....my vote can only be secured by dumping Romney and getting somone more conservative to be the nominee. IF Sarah Palin couldn’t help McCain win (and by comparison Romney makes McCain look like a rock rib conservative), then why would a conservative like Palin help Romney? They won’t, and I will not drink Romney Cyanide Koolaid.

I have voted for EVERY GOP nominee for POTUS in the general election since 1976. However, this time the GOP has strayed too far for me to follow.

I WILL VOTE FOR conservative Republicans in the House and Senate and other “down ticket” positions. However, nothing can get me to support Romney. I WILL vote third party to send a message and to ensure that IF Romney or Obama win...they won’t have a large mandate. Also, IF enough conservative Republicans can increase their numbers in the House and get control of the Senate. THEN we can negate Obama’s destruction of the country....maybe even impeach him for exceeding the powers of the executive branch. However, Romney’s election will negate any House or Senate gains, and when he does foolish things, which he will, the bulk of them WILL NOT OPPOSE HIM WHEN THEY SHOULD BECAUSE OF “PARTY LOYALTY.” That is NOT a risk I will take. I guess I only trust House and Senate GOP members when either they oppose a liberal/dictator Democrat like Obama, or when there is a REAL conservative Republican as POTUS.

I still think Romney is trying to get Governor Jerry Brown to be his running mate.

it will be an etch a sketch “conservative”. Christie, rubio, and jindal are out. Now some mumbles about portman out, which leaves pawlenty, mcdonnell.

It will be nice if Romney keeps his word. I’d like to have one conservative on the ticket.

Communist is a synonym for monster.

He could also substitute “Lady GaGa” for monster too.

Governor Romney, I beg you to choose someone who is without doubt or controversy a Natural Born Citizen.

Please represent me by choosing someone who was born here on American soil to parents who were both American citizens at the time of your VP pick's birth. And has the paperwork to prove it, just like the rest of us.

It's the only way I'll vote for you.

Please, sir, do not make this controversial or for the sake of political expediency or political correctness.

We've had more than enough of that, now we need some healing. Can you please do that for us or are you here to rip us apart like the rest of them?

My bet is on Paul Ryan. I'm HOPING it's Paul Ryan.

Geographically great - middle-westerner......ideologically great - conservative......great appearance - nice, boyish, good Irish looks, hah.....great articulation - watch him debate Joe Bite-me, hah.....great economy credentials - no explanation necessary......

GO RYAN FOR VEEP- who could ask for anything more!

Leni

(P.S.....no, we don't want his talent bottled up and buried in the crowded House....don't worry, another numbers genius will arise from the crowd to take his place, it will happen, count on it!)
