As one of the FReepers who want to see Obama severely beaten in November, I have been critical of Romney because he has not campaigned to beat Obama.
By watching the 10 minute clip of this speech, I can see why he has been such a Milktoast Candidate.
When he read his speech Romney was the wimp that he has been against Obama.
Then he looked away from his speech, his voice pitch went higher, his word flow was less regulated, and HE CONNECTED WITH HIS AUDIENCE!
Then he went back to glancing at his speech, the audience started to fidget, until Romney once again looked away from the lectern and re-connected with his audience.
Romney got a standing ovation when he brought God into his speech.
Lessons from the speech are there for all to see, unless you are one of Romney’s advisors, speechwriters, or PR empty suits - - - .
BTW Romney, keep up this style of speech delivery, and you just might avoid being DUMPED in Tampa by a First Ballot ABSTAIN vote.
BTW, BTW, just go ahead and DUMP your damn Haaaaaaaarvud staff now, as they have proven that they do not have the guts to beat Obama.
Pick Oil Patch Oliver, or Housewife Hannah, or another Joe the Plumber to write your campaign speeches.
