These aren’t medical records, and the log is ordinarily open to the public. No, it's not. Go to any hospital and try to look at the log. No hospital will let you see it.

HIPAA exempts directory information from disclosure restrictions. sometimes lurkers simply likes to confuse this issue. There’s no law preventing Kapiolani Hospital from confirming whether or not Obama was born there.Such logs are open to the public, so you're wrong. You're not conservative but a leftist gadfly.
