It is also interesting to look at the coding for birthplace of father.
On the Obama birth certificate, the coding is “2”.
On the Nordyke birth certificate, it is harder to see but it also appears to be “2”.
I don’t know what the coding system was for that particular box. The Posse did not release that information.
But whatever it was the coding system would likely at the very least distinguish between a place of birth for the father outside the US from a place of birth for the father inside the US.
Since it appears that both Obama’s father was listed as “2” and Nordyke’s father was listed as “2”, that would suggest that whoever was originally named as the father on the Obama birth certificate was born in the United States as was the Nordyke father, and not outside the United States.
However, what we really need is to see the coding system for the other boxes besides race to confirm this.
I thought on the coding system from a picture posted earlier...the number “2” indicated “Negro”....ergo the father was a Negro
Perhaps this is the coding of the original possessor of this certificate #, Virginia something or other.
Some of the other Freepers brought up the coding, and cracked the codes on here months and months ago. So it was just a bit disappointing that the posse went over this same ground but I need to remember that not everyone is reading about this on FR as closely as we are! It is a good thing that the posse called attention to the coding significance today, even if it's over most people's (LSM's) heads. I'll wager that our trusty Freepers have the other coding books you are looking for on hand. I would like to see them, too!
