With all due respect sir, biblically-speaking, there also is no such thing as differing degrees of sin as far as God is concerned.
Sin is also sin. Some sins are referenced as 'Abominations' before the Lord - but the bible does not list sin in terms of degrees. Traditions have done that, but it's not biblical.
Sin is sin and evil is evil, they are both synonymous. I think we make a huge mistake by trying to lessen sin and evil to differing degrees for the purpose of justifying our acceptance or even support of sin and evil.
I also think you are correct to equate abortion with mass murder, because in God's eyes - it is.
If the Civil War was God's Judgment for our national sin and hypocrisy over slavery, when considering abortion, I tremble for my country when I consider that God is Just - and His Justice will not sleep forever.
Well, you are of course 100% correct on that, but I don’t want to argue any possible degree of sin or evil. Just want to emphasize that mass murder of innocent human life is indeed EVIL!! And no less evil whether condoned by Democrats or Republicans.
If Romney was ever able to justify mass murder in his own mind, then he’s capable of justifying ANYTHING. The man has already proven that he has an EVIL mind!!
