One strains, studying the entire history of presidential elections, to think of a president who was re-elected under such economic conditions as prevail in the U.S. today. Now, with June's campaign finance data trickling out, we can add the grotesque financial mismanagement of the Obama campaign as another factor counting against the president in addition to those historic headwinds.

The car is leased. They have taken hundreds of thousands out of home equity or they have a loan modification or they are renting. They have tens of thousands in consumer debt. They are eligible for food stamps, EITC, disabilty.
They are already living inside the house.

Of course, half of America is made up of idiots. And besides that, since the pollsters know your name, address and phone number, you could be at risk of retaliation if you give an anti-Obama answer...FEMA reeducation camps a' comin'!

I think another aspect is Obama's base has dwindled down to only takers. And takers don't give, so no donations. Wherever there are takers, there are those who seek to control the pot of money doled out to the takers. If Obama is not elected, the controllers' power and influence dwindles.

I pricked up my ears when the author mentioned "foreign credit cards" at the end of the article. I believe Obama will not "run out of money" - Obama could get tens of millions from the MB and who thinks the republicans would even squeak about it?
This campaign will get so ugly, hateful and dishonest that I will be surprised if Mittens doesn't just drop out - kind of a self disqualification. Maybe Romney stays in, wins it - only to have Obama's supreme court suspend the results because of "voter disenfranchisement" This is going to be verrrrry interesstink!

Obama took donations in 2008 from credit cards. Many payments came from out of the country with payments in strange amounts.
Federal election commission? - Nothing

Obama...won 9.5 million more votes than McCain. That won't happen again. That's a safe prediction, since McCain won't be on the ballot this time.

You're being WAY too generous. I'd say the idiot sector is at least 90%.

From now to the election, Obama will need to spend maybe 10% of his time on his official duties and 20% playing golf, and will have 70% left to fundraise and make campaign speeches.
Lets be honest - the country is better off if his time is spent according to this breakdown. The less time this man spends doing his job, the better off we all are.

Could be but the 3 latest polls just today, Pew included have Bama increasing his lead nationally and in battleground states. Now conservs like Vig. are complaining he is not giving his views. I despise it when Pubs shoot their wounded. And polls that deal with registered voters instead of LIKELY voters are worth nada. Still, the MSM will lie along with its allied in the WH and Dem Senate and it seems as if those lies work. Otherwise, how can one still see so many states with Bama in the lead and supposedly increasing!?
