Good!! She's a RINO - just like Romney.
Are there any cons against Martinez, except maybe her lack of experience, and I am not too sure that is a negative? She sure is likable, reading your list.
Just had another thought. I know amazing huh ! You got any proof she didn’t Just as I thought. Nope
what proof do you have that she voted for Obama?
All due respect, SQ, I worked for her...
She would be the worst choice. It’s going to be Rubio.
What proof do you have that she didn’t ?
Rice is too much Liberal Globalist for me....but she is a better choice than La Raza Rubio, by far.
Her selection would pull in some moderate independents.....much more potential voters than the fantasy hispanics people claim Rubio would bring in with his “Amnesty Agenda”
Yawn - - -
If you were being sarcastic, in your original post, why not put an /s after your post to clue the rest of us in?
You know, I don’t yet know exactly what I’m going to do in the voting booth in November, but if Romney (assuming a miracle doesn’t occur at the Convention to deny him the nomination) picks Rice I don’t think I’d be able to vote for him no matter how tightly I pinched my nose.
Romney needs a “pit bull” not a policy “wonk”.
EXACTLY!!!
While a pit bull might tend to overshadow Mitt - I still think it would be better for the VP to be a pit bull.
As for Condi ..?? I think that would be a terrible choice. The first words out of the left’s mouth would be - “BUSH”. They hate anybody who was a part of the Bush admin.
Secondly, Condi is considered to be “moderate” (too wishy-washy) and definitely pro-abortion. That means the right (of which I am a part) would not be happy with that choice.
I like Rubio (straight talker - doesn’t mince words - knows what he believes without a teleprompter, etc. While he’s a bit young .. he’d have at least 4 yrs to gain experience, and most likely 8 yrs). Also, Rubio knows his way around the Congress (which Romney doesn’t). Hannity did a great interview of him for the show’s full hour - if you missed it - I think it’s still available at Fox or Hannity.com.
I like Christie’s spunk - but he’s a bit rude for my taste .. even though a few people in DC need to be told off more than a couple of times.
The only other one I really like is Paul Ryan. I thought he was President material the first time I heard him speak.
Pawlenty and Porter are good guys, but they’re milk-toast .. and that’s not what we need right now.
Sarah Palin. :D
Just saying.
None of them have the guts!
For one thing, the Senate would never approve the repeal as long as the dims control the Senate.
For another, freebies have never been repealed.
The best we can hope for is a rollback.
Condi Rice is another in the line of pro-abortion, pro-gay agenda Rinos.
Her selection means only one thing: Mitt Romney intends to move sharply left and fight Obama for the liberal vote.
Rice is just as La Raza friendly as Rubio is (she sucked up to Mexico and their open border agenda when she was SOS), and she's well to the LEFT of Rubio on other issues like abortion and Israel. In fact, I would argue she's to the left of Romney. I don't see your argument... Rubio's bad because his fan club promotes him with their fantasy about Hispanics voting Republican, but it's okay for Rice's fan club to promote her because of their fantasy we can trump Obama with a black female? She'll pull moderates and independents? Did her fan club miss the primary when Mitt "I was an independent during Reagan/Bush" won? You don't "balance" the ticket with another RINO. If she was a white male with the same horrid track record as Bush's SOS, nobody would give her the time of day.
I don't trust Rubio because I think he sell us out on immigration. But I KNOW Rice will, and if she's Romney's running mate I'm voting third party (I'm in a "safe Obama" state so it's not like my vote matters)
Rice is on my UNACCEPTABLE list along with other RINOs like Gov. Fortuno of Puerto Rico. Not just no, hell no.
That would not be the best choice. Allen West would be best.
