"Why would she make a good candidate for VP?
Because she has black skin?
Because she is a female? No, because she can tell Putin to go to he11 in Russian.

“She is easily the worst person who's name has been seriously mentioned.”

1,000,000,000% agree Impy! She f**king sucks. I would rather Hillary! than Rice.

Her and her “brutha” Colon Bowell need to stay where they put themselves: In the racist corner that they painted themselves in.

“Useful idiots” indeed.

"In other words.. you can’t back up your statement"

No, those aren't the other words, I can back up my original opinion. Just ask your question in a literate way, apologize for your rude implication, and you will see how communication can get you the information you seek.

I was married to a state senator..thankfully not anymore.

Jerry Doyle is right about the after hours deals that are cut at the Capitol Grill on the Hill. Dems and Pubbies(fueled by Boehner’s rounds) get souced and what we would hear if we were flies on the wall would make our Rino hinky meters go off like a siren...

The “votes” on the House floor are for C-Span show.
The after dark smoozing slobbering love fests between “leaders” of both houses should alarm and infuriate us.
Alot of damage has already been done by Roberts. Some of the HC provisions will be repealed ...some will not.

I think by November, we'll probably have the GOP, Dem, Green, Constitution, and Libertarian party nominees for President on the ballot in Illinois. Those 5 parties get on the ballot in the majority of states, and Illinois will probably be one of them. Of course, the Madigan RAT goons COULD throw anyone off the ballot if they wanted to (using some ridiculous technicality), but they probably won't bother since they don't deem any candidate to be a threat to Obama winning Illinois.

I just checked the 2008 ballot in Crook County, and it seems we had quite a few candidates to pick from:

Barack Obama & Joe Biden (Democratic)
John McCain & Sarah Palin (Republican)
Cynthia McKinney & Rosa Clemente (Green Party)
Bob Barr & Wayne A. Root (Libertarian)
John Joseph Polachek & No Candidate (New Party)
Charles O. Baldwin & Darrell L. Castle (COI)
Ralph Nader & Matt Gonzalez (Independent)

Surprised Polachek made it on the ballot in Illinois. Same deal, he probably filed pretty questionable petitions (doesn't even have a running mate!), but nobody challenged him.

I hope not.

Last thing we need is a policy wonk that was educated and raised up through the ranks during the cold war.

That entire generation is so deeply invested, emotionally and intellectually, in the twin idiocies of containment and appeasement, that there’s no way they can be functionally competent in this day’s foreign policy needs.

In Illinois, the Constitution Party presidential candidate, Virgil Goode, received an objection.
