all or nothing freeper who was against the partial birth abortion ban because it did not ban all abortions

I think any group who seriously wants to end abortion needs to study how (Democratic) Jim Crow laws were eventually defeated. The NAACP didn't win by simply going to court and demanding an end to all segregation immediately. They picked certain cases to take to SCOTUS in order to slowly chip away at segregation's underpinnings, then finally went in for the kill after they had a number of successes defeating Jim Crow laws in certain areas. An all or nothing approach to abortion is a losing proposition.

As opposed to the "nothing" approach that has worked so well for forty years, right?

In America, our assertion of the right to life is premised on equality before God. In other words, it truly is for all of us, or it is nothing.

And, you're either alive or you're dead. Again, all or nothing.

The idea that you can fudge on equality or life is in fact completely destructive of every decent moral, constitutional or legal argument against abortion.

Surrender equality and you've already lost. Abortion on demand is the result. And we have forty years of bloody history to prove it.

Nonsense. They won by appealing consistently to the conscience of the nation as concerns EQUALITY before God and the law.

"No person shall be deprived of life without due process of law."

"No State shall deprive any person of life without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
