Mother Jones? REALLY? Huffington Post? Seriously? There's no hidden agenda at either source.

They most certainly are not looking out for the prolife movement. Beware.

Secondly, who cares what a company was doing LAST YEAR when Romney may have been involved with them 13 years prior?

It's foolish, as are you. We know well Romney's past on this issue. We know his move towards a prolife view is stated to have come after the period in question.

Your post does the work of the Obama campaign which is precisely why Mother Jones and The Huffington Post have run with this material and their chosen spin.

Your notion that somehow our problem is too much “purity” is absurd.

I pray that at some point you all realize where Romney is taking you.

It’s a moral wasteland.

And the Left will laugh at your hypocrisy every step of the way. Why are you surprised?

Mother Jones is more reliable.

That you believe this says EVERYTHING we need to know about you.

Let’s make a comparison of notions. If Romney were profiting froma company which harevsted and sold the body parts of murdered unborn children, then he would be exploiting the slaughter of alive unborn children. How much different would that be from EV exploiting the slaughter to empower himself because he will accept nothing but ALL abortions banned and is willing that tens of thousands of alive unborn children be ‘sacrificed’ in order to empower his all or nothing demands? Not much difference, except Romney as far I have been able to discover has not profited fromt eh harvesting of body parts from aborted children, but EV has been trying to empower himself on their carcasses for a decade that I’m aware of.

That you believe this says EVERYTHING we need to know about you.

LifeNews is joined at the hip with the Romney campaign, via James Bopp and NRTL. They're a mouthpiece, nothing else.

No matter how you twist it.

Left-Wing Blogs Falsely Attack Romney on Abortion, Stericycle

by Steven Ertelt | LifeNews.com | 7/4/12 5:55 PM

At a time when the pro-life movement is coming together to support Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney over pro-abortion President Barack Obama, left-wing blogs are working overtime to sow seeds of doubt and distrust about the man who converted to the pro-life position on abortion. ...Left-wing blog Mother Jones hopes to make Romney look duplicitous on abortion by tying him to a company, Stericycle... in the process, it hopes to confuse pro-life advocates who are supporting Romney into thinking that somehow he was the owner and operator of Stericycle and somehow approved of its business disposing the bodies of victims of abortion...

Bain itself — after Romney left [Bain in 1999] — divested from Stericycle well before it began its abortion-connected operations.

As Mother Jones notes: “In 2001, the Bain-Madison Dearborn partnership that had invested in the company sold 40 percent of its holdings in Stericycle for about $88 million—marking a hefty profit on its original investment of $75 million. The Bain-related group sold the rest of its holdings by 2004. It was not until six years later that anti-abortion activists would target Stericycle for collecting medical waste at abortion clinics.”

That Romney wasn’t involved in, approving of, familiar with, or even involved in the company at the time of the Stericycle-aborted bodies disposal business, is further proven by the documentation of the pro-life Stop Stericycle campaign. The campaign began in January 2011 — over a decade after Romney was no longer involved in Bain Capital.

"LifeNews is a mouthpiece for Romney. David Corn is more honest."

That tells me everything I need to know about you, Tom. Your children are surely ashamed of you...

Pure, unadulterated pro-Romney spin.

I would be surprised if Romney staffers didn’t have a hand in writing that drivel.

Being anti-abortion is only one-half of the deal Tom -- the other half is not bringing shame upon your children...and that's what you're doing.

Some people just know better

If anyone would like to show that Romney knew that this company was disposing of aborted babies when the deal with Bain was made and that Romney was involved in approving the deal with that knowledge, I'd love to see it.

all or nothing freeper who was against the partial birth abortion ban because it did not ban all abortions

I think any group who seriously wants to end abortion needs to study how (Democratic) Jim Crow laws were eventually defeated. The NAACP didn't win by simply going to court and demanding an end to all segregation immediately. They picked certain cases to take to SCOTUS in order to slowly chip away at segregation's underpinnings, then finally went in for the kill after they had a number of successes defeating Jim Crow laws in certain areas. An all or nothing approach to abortion is a losing proposition.
