Well said. I do not like Romney, I do not trust Romney. But with a choice of running into a wall or running into a tree, I’ll take the tree. Those who refuse to accept that they are behind the wheel are delusional. “I don’t like where this car is going, so I am going close my eyes and take my hands off the wheel. That will teach them.”
I'm not even sure that's true with some of these folks. They might claim conservative principles are paramount, but I'm beginning to suspect what motivates them is actually a burning need to feel superior. I suspect they'd pick any issue and stance - as long as they can claim they're the "most pure" and therefore better than anyone else.
Arguing is a losing battle...no persuading people with a mindset like that.
