No, it's the reality because a plurality of GOP primary voters selected liberal hump Mitt Romney as the nominee.
The person who gets the most votes in the GOP primaries is generally the party nominee. That's how the system works.
You propose some revolutionary fantasy where the angry horde storms in and overturns the election to strong arm their own candidate into the position. It will never happen, and if it did we'd be one giant step closer to the third world shit hole that appears to be our destiny.
It's a self-fulfilling prophecy, because you and others believe it.
Until you find it within yourself to stand up and disagree with the course of events, they'll continue to steam roller on. And over us.
Romney knows the system and plays to win—but establishing momentum both by claiming victories that weren’t (Iowa) or running up victories that are hardly “we” (American Samoa) and by ensuring that it was winner-take-all where he might benefit and proportional where he might benefit.
That said, I sure as he!! didn’t entrust him with anything and wouldn’t entrust him with anything.
Only fantasies I see is that Romney is a conservative and that he will win.
