And a more tepid batch of "endorsements" I've never heard -- and all from people who want/expect some kind of future in the Republican Party. Even with their backs to the wall, the only thing they can say for Romney is that he's not Obama. Not exactly a rallying cry . . .
The GOP bumper sticker message this year boiled down to its essence:
"Romney sucks but..."
That ought to really rally the troops.

yeah, that’s very true. It is the same encouragement that one shows when say, getting a colonoscopy. You do it not because you want to, just ‘cause you know it’s the right thing to do and in the end, inevitable (punny!).
