I think you find similar “spinelessness” in the larger cities of the South, but not in the smaller cities and rural areas.
Although in smaller cities and towns in the South, there is a lot of black crime....but you do not see it so much against whites or in their neighborhoods. You just do not have the White Guilt Liberalism in smaller cities and towns in the South
Seminole County actually is less White Guilt than other areas in the South...which may be why the GOP Governor and GOP AG sent in their own people to prosecute Zimmerman, when our local State Atty was not going to do so (and correctly so)
I have been curious about that. Smaller places such as Jackson Tennessee and Helena and Pine Bluff Arkansas have violent crime rates that are incredible. The black mayor of Helena Ak had parts of the city effectively closed off by closing all but one or two streets into them and police were stationed there to check ID’s and demanding to know why those who didn't live in the affected zone were trying to enter these areas. Jackson, Mississippi's black mayor ordered something similar but in that case the NAALCP raised sam hill. Black crime is out of control in many cities and most of it is black on black. In all the hand wringing done by black and white politicos no one can ever mentioned that black illegitimacy rates are above 70% and the effective drop out rate is over 50%. Mentioning these facts is considered racist.
