OK, I’ll try. I’m a 7th generation Texan, descended from the original Texians brought to Texas by Stephen F. Austin and his brother.
Texas has changed a lot over the last 50 years. There will be no secession. Don’t waste your time on fantasies.
Liberals and conservatives keep looking for a free ticket out of what’s coming. There is none. There are about 10 more years of bad times coming no matter who gets elected.
I will agree things will be worse under Obama, and I certainly will be voting against him in November.

Family has been in this county since 1889. I was the first to move away (for 25 years), but moved back in 1995.
