David also dismisses that abuse was occuring in the family. David does NOT have background in the area. I’m just very unconvinced that the parentage as stated in “Dreams” are the real parents. After mucho reading... I’m not holding fixed opinions, but open to any new information or background. I was convinced that the parentage was as stated, then figured the Kenyan could not be the biodad, and then the “Auntie” thread convinced me that SAD is not the mother. “Dreams” was written for one reason only, to give a life to the lie in the WH. So anything in it is suspect unless independently verified. IMHO.
As far as the Kenyan being abusive, I think there is plenty of evidence he was abusive to Ruth, I just don’t think he had anything to do with SAD at any time other than the Christmas time appearance.
