I don’t see a photo such as you describe. Do you have to be a FB member to see it? Someone posted a photo of SAD in a navy blue “sailor dress” a year or two (or three??) ago on FR. I think it was on a boat, looked to be in harbor.

You've just proved my points.....He had no idea where she was. She was in hiding. If the name had been marked out and Anne S was written in someone found and verified the name she was using.

All the speculation of who did what to whom when is JUST interpretation of that speculation and does absolutely nothing to disprove his eligibility for office.

It's interesting and valuable if you're writing a book, but not valuable if you're gonna legally PROVE he's a fraud and remove him from office. Hearsay and speculation doesn't make it in a court of law.

It takes a much bigger sheet of paper on which to write all the things one does NOT know, than it does to write what one DOES KNOW. Reminds me, last night I saw another one of 'those' programs about the pyramid of Giza. Little lady with a big smile and a microphone is telling all and sundry, here's the sarcophagus of the pharoah...(it's a granite, bath-shaped structure without a lid, so large and so heavy that it could not be REMOVED - the 'thing' must have been placed where it now stands, and the pyramid had to be built around it) -

Furthermore, a German engineering firm, tasked with creating a duplicate, submitted a design and quotation for the object in separate pieces, because they could not reproduce the original...and undertake to place it into the pyramid...

So you see, what is UNKNOWN is far more interesting than what is the ASSUMED known. Any hope of ever finding out just how that 'sarcophagus' got into the pyramid or how it was created is GONE every time someone with a microphone tells you ALL THEY KNOW.

Just one final comment...you insist SAD was in hiding from an abusive relationship, so she moves to Seattle and uses the name OBAMA? Wouldn’t she have been better off if she had reverted to her maiden name, after all, if she was enrolled at the U of HI under the name DUNHAM, she could simply have used her existing identification.And there are a whole lot more Dunhams around than OBAMA.
If he was looking for her, he would have found her by simply looking in the directory. Silly girl.
And to top it off, she enrolls at the U of WA under OBAMA as well?
She calls herself OBAMA, Stanley Ann Dunham at the U of WA, and ANNA OBAMA in the Polk, while she’s HIDING?

Not too many Freepers would wish to purchase the David Maraniss book, titled Barack Obama (The Story). I have it and it certainly takes a dedicated reader to try to realize the import within it's pages.

I learn that Barack Obama Sr. had a father who was a notorious wife beater. Barack Obama Sr. was also a violently abusive man and using pages 208-209 I found out something not known generally. Ruth Baker had married him and bore his son in Kenya. Educated and of sheltered background in America, she was unprepared for his drunken beatings.

She fled to Boston with her one year old child in 1966. Her parents immediately accepted her and child. Three weeks later, Obama Sr shows up and "knocked on doors and called around until he found her". He begged her forgiveness and vowed never to abuse her again. She went back with him to Kenya. His drunken beatings continued. She finally divorced him.

True my account may not be appropriate to the general thread here, but I will chance that. I have not time to give the exact page reference, but elsewhere in the book, Obama tried the same tactic with Stanley Ann (according to Maraniss). This when he paid his quick visit to see a young Barry. He is supposed to have demanded that she return with him to Kenya with her son.

A lot more might be gleaned from this book, more than what the author bargained for. He has already castigated the "right wing" for making use of his information. I wonder if this wretched man, Obama Sr. ever abused Stanley Ann?. The quest for the truth continues here on Free Republic.
