I am thankfully young and have no debt, so while this will hurt me from a discretionary spending standpoint, my bills will still be paid.
That’s the crux of the problem with this: people don’t understand what’s happened until it starts to affect their paychecks. Businesses will shutter due to a lack of business, because people are paying everything out for the illusion of “free” healthcare, when in reality, they are being herded into the stables for slaughter the closer they are to age 65.

It’s a wonderful thing to have lived responsibly, have almost no debt, and be very ordinary middle class...
and not know if we are better off retiring or working ‘til we drop and paying hellish taxes.
