Well, a vampire movie rated G would be pretty unrealistic.
The book was better.
Which one?
We’re overstocked with raisin bran, so I’m going to make extremely numerous raisin bran muffins and freeze them.
Also, what was the egg salad recipe with the cheese again? Pat is asking for it. For egg salad, I mean, not for “it” figuratively.
Mother’s Picnic Sandwich Spread
6-8 hardboiled eggs, mashed with a fork or pastry cutter into small chunks
1 to 1 1/2 Cups medium or sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
1 to 1 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped finely or put thru “meat grinder”
2 Tbsp Pimiento, with juice
1/2 - 1 Cup Mayo (not Miracle Whip)
1 tsp processed mustard
1 tsp lime juice
Mix all ingredients together, including pepper juices; cover; let stand in fridge fpr a few hours or overnight. Makes 8-12 sandwiches.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
Using my mother’s egg salad sandwich filling? *gasp* :thud:
For all I knew, Darks had read “Shadow Over New Orleans” and liked it better than the movie.
I have “Puss in Boots,” with Antonio Banderas as a cartoon character, out from Netflix. Maybe I’ll watch it tonight while boiling eggs or making raisin bran muffins.
I think I’m going to lie down and read a little. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day for me.
I hope it is!
Well, we’ve had Piper on trial for a couple weeks, and after some discussion with the lady we adopted her from we’re thinking she might do better in a house with some other dogs. She isn’t adapting to being an only dog in a house as well as anyone hoped.
In other news, the electrical wiring in the house is behaving very oddly. Discussion of whether or not me and my friend’s husband can fix it or not.
That’s too bad, but you don’t want Piper to be in a home where she’s not as happy as she could be. Ash would be lonely without a big crowd, too. Maybe you should have a rescue-cat, and then see about a dog after a few months of getting settled in.
The landlord has a legal obligation to have the electricity functioning with no surprises. If necessary, I can research New Jersey tenantry statutes and help you draft a letter explaining how a licensed and bonded electrician is going to get it fixed right up.
It works, but it’s an older house, so sometimes you plug something into one outlet and the lights in the room turn off, or the object doesn’t work until you flip the switch and turn the lights off. Or you plug something into one socket, like a computer, and then something that’s plugged into a socket across the room turns on by itself.
I think fixing it would require a rewiring of most of the house.
Make notes and be careful.
According to the Pagkage Bunneh Beeber, he will be there tomorrow! :o]
I’m heading out to Walmart in a bit. The temp is supposed to hit about 117 today. I have no trouble with that, but I don’t want to walk in it any farther than to the nearest shade.
The bus will freeze me on the way home, no doubt!
Oh, good, a bunneh! I’ll have Jake on watch! Maybe the Spanish Music Books Bunneh will arrive today.
I need to go to Walmart, too. Cat food, dog food, large trash bags ...
Howdy a blistering 86 here yesterday!! Cute Martha Stewart collection!!!LOL
“Shipment has left seller facility and is in transit”
:o])
We expect 117 today. I love the heat!
