People are way beyond “angry.” They feel that something terrible is happening to the country.

Our “news outlets” are absolutely disgusting. Anyone who believes they are “reporting the news” is under a very dangerous misapprehension. We can’t count on them to be anything but shills for Obama. Too bad we can’t count all the money they spend on the network news operations as direct contributions to the Obama campaign.

And I do not have a great deal of faith in the future of this country, unless a lot of people wake up, and fast! Some foreign press outlets get it. A “Kenyan-born” author, whose first book reads just like the prose of a known radical with a violent past and whose second book reads nothing like the first, just happens to “luck out” when both his primary and general election senate opponents are derailed by allegations contained in sealed, but leaked or otherwise obtained documents. The man has a murky background and past that are altered when circumstances require it, and no one in the media bats an eye. I didn’t attach a lot of importance to his grandmother dying (and his frantic trip out to her, in Hawaii) just before the election, and poo-pooed notions that Andrew Breitbart’s death was anything other than a heart attack. Mark Levin’s desire never to touch the constitutional issues surrounding Obama’s eligibility, even to explain them away, raised my suspicions though, but still not a lot.

But Justice Roberts’ apparent last-minute turn is more than enough to get me really, really worried! I can’t even write down the possibilities of what could take place before the election, especially if the economy, and Obama’s numbers, continue to go south.

I don’t even want to think about a second term for him right now.

Angry? People have no idea! But we have to realize that there are still a lot of people who believe that “the Republicans have been trying to block everything Obama wanted to do to help us,” “he saved us from a depression and is still cleaning up Bush’s mess” or “what’s wrong with guaranteed health care?” We have to get the facts out.

At this rate, I don’t even have confidence that America will have a fair election in November, or that Romney and the Republicans will listen to the will of the people even if they win in a landslide.

The “elites” are against the people who make this country work, and the former may have enough stupid, lazy and/or envious folks voting for them to cement their power.

Am I giving up? No. I will work to do my part. But I also realize that nations become corrupt and decadent. I am preparing myself and my family as best I can for future possibilities. We will either do what is necessary to restore America, or things will continue to spiral down. Either way, it will be painful. I am ashamed that so many Americans allowed the present “government” to damage, and possibly destroy, what our ancestors and military worked, bled, and died for.

We are in deeep trouble. I feel like there are no rules anymore. I hesitate to say this, but even the September 11 attacks, by an outside foreign force, was not as much of a threat to the foundation of our country as recent avents have been.

My family and my faith comfort me. I will do my best. But I may find it difficult to enjoy the 4th of July celebrations this year.

I believe that, in the end, God will remember the people who have been faithful, and visit upon the wicked what they have visited on others.

But we have to do our part. I am praying for wisdom and courage.

“I believe that, in the end, God will remember the people who have been faithful, and visit upon the wicked what they have visited on others.”

Sadly, in the Bible, He did take down entire nations for the sins of a few. (We’re so screwed.)

If it’s any consolation, those who can and will must resist. In business and at home, wherever we can. Don’t reward tyranny with your money, your vote, your compliance, or your cooperation. Shop with resistance or don’t shop, stand up, speak out where you can.

The Republicans lack of resistance made them culpable and they did this Romney thing against us to pay off old debt, and because remember they didn’t believe he could win against Obamao.
