I’ve been getting rid of “stuff” for 2mos; cleaning-out garages, drawers, cupboards and closets, is a good thing. I’m saving the worst - the dreaded basement - for last. The local Salvation Army Thrift Store is a lot richer for all the donations.

Oh, we were lucky that way. You can’t hardly drive anywhere including the main roads without having to drive around huge fallen trees.

Look at the whitened curbs, small piles of white ashes, no walls or chimneys standing, clean streets/driveways, no debris... TOTAL INCINERATION... Yikes. I’ve been thru a couple and fought several other wildfires over the years, but no surreal scene like that one.

yes, today I finally tackled a certain corner in the storage area in the basement. I’ve got a couple appliances down their that I will never u se, they’re going next. Also have an old am crib and a baby swing and a set of clubs that no one will ever use.
