Besides, it is a liberal argument to expect the government to protect us from ourselves. Conservatives should know better. As citizens, it is our duty to elect representatives who will respect the Constitution and also our duty to throw them out when they fail in their duty.

In November, we shall have an opportunity to redeem ourselves.

“Besides, it is a liberal argument to expect the government to protect us from ourselves.”

OMG. Are you freakin’ kidding me? Just what exactly do you think the job of the SCOTUS is?

Why do we even have a SCOTUS? Checks and balance maybe?

You are the one with the liberal argument.

I bet you secretly love Obamacare or are John Roberts himself posting here. I can’t otherwise understand such stupid comments.

I have a question... if this thing is now a tax, can’t it be repealed? Why do we have to wait until the November election? To repeal a tax, you only need 51 votes, right? Not the 60 that were needed when it was not a tax. Why can’t we begin the repeal process now? We would need ALL Republicans in the Senate, plus 4 Democrats to vote for repeal. The way I see it, there are 14 Democrats who are in danger of losing their Senate seats. Make them vote yay or nay on a repeal. Make them own it AGAIN. Wrap these 21 new taxes, the largest tax increase in WORLD HISTORY, around their necks and hang them with it! They either vote to repeal, or they get to go into the November election as having upheld this steaming pile of crap. Can we not do this... or is it just the Crying Boner standing in the way?
