Working 20 years as a civil servant unless it was in a prison or Federal Law Enforcement is not the same as active duty.

Secret Service Uniformed personnel, Border Patrol, Force Protective Services are Fed law enforcement officers, and there are Fed Prison guards, they have different retirement options then say a clerk at HHS. I am guessing that would include the Capital Police as well. We’ve had uniformed Federal Law Enforcement types for a very long time, what do you find wrong with that?
