Maybe it is time for a constitutional amendment to limit time on the Bench. Congress can replace those who are deemed activist from the bench and remove them if they can muster 65 votes in the Senate. This would put a scare into the judges that they better not write law!

Of course Congress is to damn cowardly to use the tools at their disposal.
