"Afraid"??
I really don't know anybody who is voting for Romney. Everybody I talk to is voting against the Kenyan communist race-hustler Ubama, and that sentiment alone may not be enough for Romney to carry the day. Romney's VP choice may be the only thing that excites enough people to put him over the top. If he truly wants to win, he better make it good.

In the ordinary course of events the vice president choice does not make much difference. Altho unfair, the Quale choice may have been a minus.

Sarah Palin created a lot of interest but she didn’t pull the old dude over the finish line.

The only possible difference it might make with Romney is that if he chooses some conservative idol ... and I have no idea who that could be because a lot of people here don’t like anybody but God (and God only if he’s on their side) ... it might give the Romney haters an excuse or justification for voting for him.

As in, I’m only voting for Romney in the hope that he dies and then ... insert name ... would be president.

Personally, I’m voting for Romney unless he chooses Eric Holder as veep.
