"OR...I assumed everyone understood what OR meant."

"The franchise should be limited to tax payers, veterans, and property owners."

You meant to say "or" in your statement - so fair enough and I can agree.

Definitely anyone who defends this nation should have a vote, no matter what. I may not agree with them, but they defend this nation sacrificially .. and many at risk of their own lives.

As far as taxpayers, though, it seems like we would have to qualify who is a taxpayer, as I've heard quite a few making the argument that even those on welfare pay taxes.

Great summary vid. Hussein has the blood of two Americans and 300+ Mexicans on his hands. He cannot allow the release of docs nor interviews w/NSA staff or he and Holder will be up on murder charges.

What has that got to do with the fact the FOUNDERS did not want a party system

There are myriad things that the Founders didn’t want but exist now. I’m simply pointing out the folly of arguing over it. America isn’t what it was at its founding.

Well then why did you cite the Founders in your original post

Was speaking specifically to the quote I referenced, not to a general statement or historically significant understanding of the Founders.

These respondents want single-party rule, and that’s not how the Founders envisioned this country. It’s more where they came from than where they wanted to be.

“By a 7-point margin — 48 percent to 41 percent — likely voters said Congress had been obstructionist toward the president.”

Silly poll. Sometimes, like now, obstructionism by Congress is a good thing.
