That said, I have my personal doubts as to the accuracy of the polls .... remember Wisconsin when the exit polls showed the progressives winning. What was discounted was that at least 16% of the voters polled during the exit from the polls lied to the pollsters to make them go away and not to be hassled by the union thugs.
The useful days of polling are past. With caller id most people avoid polls. And since the polled suspect the polling company of tracking responses and feeding it to campaigns and union thugs, few people answer honestly. Why risk reprisals? Just lie and vote your true opinion in the secret ballot.
