Polish Minister of Sports Joanna Mucha has said she is "disgusted" at scenes of hooliganism that occured in Warsaw before and after the Euro 2012 match between Poland and Russia.
Out of 184 people arrested during the evening, 157 were Polish and 24 were Russian, Polish police said.
Clashes began as thousands of Russian fans marched through Warsaw to mark Russia Day before the game but this footage shows the violence that continued as fans exited the ground.

So they don;t like russkies. Who does?
Minister of Sports ????
What kind of budget/staff does she get?
This reminded me of the joke of a woman who was complaining to her friend about the nerve of a local business, who put an ad in the paper that they wanted to hire a Polish man.
The government should crack down on prejudice like that, she said.
What kind of business is it?, asked her friend.
Oh, it’s a car wash, she replied.
How come we don’t have hooligans anymore in the US like
they do in Eastern Europe? I say let’s trade a whole bunch of
occupiers for a few hooligans. We can throw in some signs
and bullhorns too.

1. US Professional team pride (Cowboys v. Redskins, Yankees v any other team, etc) is not as intense as Euro national team pride.
2. The Euro countries are just a train ride away, with open borders. Hop on a train for a few hours to the city where the game is for the associated parties/alcohol/fights.
These same Poles will fight each other, especially whenever Legia Warsaw plays their crosstown rivals, Polonia Warsaw, fighting is what these punks live for.
England went through the very same thing in the 70s and 80s with the introduction of cheap train fares, which allowed many visiting fans to travel to the games. Frankly, it took the Heysel Disaster, the Bradford City fire and the Hillsborough tragedy for them to wake up and address it.

I could not understand a thing she says all day and still want to hear more.
Looks to me like she plays for the other team.
Support for national teams is a proxy for war..
Same here when AC Sparta Praha plays against Slavia Praha. Sparta Praha fans; some of them are hooligans in a class all to themselves.
I’m an FK Viktoria ikov man myself but I’m not gonna kill anybody or burn down a city district if we lose.
And I like FC Baník Ostrava as well, or rather I HAVE to like them, or my girlfriend will kill me.
By the way, ‘mucha’ means ‘house fly’.
Stat-boy aka Buzz Kill?
Look up from your statbook long enough to catch a little humor in
life and you’ll likely love and live longer.
You should have heard my ex-wife laugh when I called Alfons Moucha, the artist, “Alfons Mucha” instead.
No way.
I think she's very attractive
Niewinna!
