Barack Obama is receiving less support in the 2012 presidential election from some of the white subgroups that gave him the strongest support in 2008. These include non-Hispanic white registered voters who are 18 to 29 years old, female postgrads, and the nonreligious, among others.
GREAT NEWS!!! When many people still believed that BHO would be a shoo-in for reelection 6-12 months ago, I was saying that he was losing, and would continue to lose, many of his '08 supporters. I know people who voted for him last time who loather him. They feel betrayed and can't wait to vote against him this time. Even the Black community will NOT turn-out in the numbers they did in '08. He will get the same percentage of the Black vote but the number will be smaller. I guarantee it. They will not vote for Romney, but they'll just not break their necks getting to the polls like they did in '08. The new has worn off.
