Crist left the Republican Party and ran for re-election as an Independent in 2010, but faded fast in the race behind Democrat Alex Sink and Republican Rick Scott, who eventually became governor.

Who the hell wrote this? Crist did not run for re-election. He ran for U.S. Senate in the primary, then dropped out of that when it became clear he would lose. Then he ran for the U.S. Senate as an "independent" and got his ass kicked. By Marco Rubio.

And yeah, it is very easy to believe Crist is a homosexual. But this kind of journalism is suspect.

Check my post at #29.

Then, tell us why this type of journalism is 'suspect' ~ it cross references well with OTHER STORIES about gay involvement in the top echelon of the Republican party!

It's not like we don't have a gay problem ~

BTW, the public is pretty loose when it comes to Democrats and gays, but when it comes to the Republicans they are INTOLERANT. We lost the 2006 election big time and gave control of the public purse to Nancy Pelosi over the questions raised in the Mark Foley and Senator Craig cases ~ and then with Ken Mehlman, top aides to Hastert in the House, and so on.

We could actually LOSE 2012 with this particular issue ~ time to make it go away ~ and that's by getting rid of the people who bring it into the party. They simply have to be purged.

Nothing personal in it at all ~ but we have to WIN FIRST.
