On June 8, 2012, President Obama gave a press conference that lasted a little over 22 minutes. At the 21 minute mark President Obama said with a totally straight face that the " private sector was doing just fine." This on the heels of a disastrous jobs report.

I know lots of people that just got laid off, or are out of work with no prospects of getting a job in their area of experience. Obama is not just stupid, he’s a plain jerk. How dare he say all these lies with a straight face; he should just be himself and say the lies with a smirk. The unemployed will kick him out of office.
The same contempt Obama holds for soldiers, he also has for the workers in the private sector. Unless these private sector workers are organizing or subverting the businesses that pay their wages they are mere wage slaves.
President Bush would never have said such a thing....he mangled words, but he didn’t mangle the truth. Let’s put Bush’s grades up against Bambi’s....NOW! From a so called Tea Party group, I’m surprised at this.

That was a brilliant display of economic acuity by GHWB that the public took to the polls when they finally resolved his reelection bid. Hopefully comrade obama will be similarly rewarded.
You are making my point for me in spades. Bush 41 was far more competent than Obama. If the electorate skewered him for what he said, Obama does not have a chance. Not only is he out of touch and incompetent, but he is a total failure far worse than Bush. Obama is finished about that there is no doubt.
