What I’m wondering is where is the opposition. Yes, there are some noises here and there. But I don’t see any real opposition; am I just not paying enough attention?

No, there is no opposition...the Republicans are scared to death from the MSM labels of extreme, kooks, etc.
Remember, we had it all in Bush’s time. They didn’t pass voter ID laws or even tried to clean up the voter lists from the dead, duplicates and what have you.
Any close election would go to the communists. Nothing new!
