Dogs are good, but an alarm system doesn’t require you to pick up its hot steaming crap using a little plastic bag.
I use an entrenching tool and an empty plastic plant bucket, but then I’m primarily picking up from my own fenced back yard. And it’s typically at ambient temperature, not hot and steaming.
