The Brooklyn teacher who allegedly plied her 17-year-old student with cannabis and repeatedly had sex with him in her office was released on bail after she was charged with rape.

Mother-of-one Erin Sayar, 36, is accused of seducing football player Kevin Eng, 16, while she was a teacher at Brooklyn's James Madison High School. Kevin is still a student there.

What business is it of ours if someone wants to risk getting STDs, possibly ending up sterile, or passing a nasty disease on to someone else? Hey, it may even lead to cancer, but it’s totally their business.

We probably shouldn’t worry about unwanted pregnancy leading to the murder of millions of innocent lives either.

And just to show how un-prudish I am, I think we should all cheer on the behavior detailed in this article so as not to deprive middle-aged guys everywhere from living vicariously through this mega-fortunate young man and others like him.

I’ve noticed that these sort of articles posted on FR are very frequently from British newspapers, particularly the Daily Mail. I understand that this is the kind of article that appeals to their demographic (which apparently is the same as the FR demographic), but why do they always feature an American teacher? Isn’t this sort of thing going on in the UK as well?

I can't cite how often the British publications have similar articles about UK teachers but the reason I sent this link was the two New York tabs must have some sort of mechanism which blocks the copying of headlines. Thus, I couldn't copy the Post or Daily News to FR .

So what you're saying is that it is specifically your business. You should probably get togehter with Mayor Bloomberg and start a new task force. Just think, if you ban sex we can put an end to STDs forever!

Hi Doug. If you want to talk specifics, every one of these threads specifically has to do with teenagers, do they not?

I’m a mom who also works in the health care field, so I see a lot of repercussions from sex with anybody, including sterility and STDs that lead to cancer, and they are starting younger and younger, like 9 years of age. And yes, with tax payers footing the bill for treatments and abortion, I do believe it’s my business.

Otherwise, let’s just look forward to more of a downward spiral of society, because this way of thinking is much of what’s wrong with our country.

My HS German teacher, Fraülein N., was walking around the class one day, speaking to us. She wandered around behind my chair (I always sat in the front row) and rather casually pressed her rather nice bosom gently against the back of my head. I was too cool (actually too chicken) to react at that time, or to try to follow up in any way.

But I didn't mind being in her class, as she was probably the youngest and hottest teacher in our school--oh, come to think of it she was in a tie with my student English teacher, Miss S.
