Ample food production - fresh water everywhere - Hydro electric power generation - healthy and benign climate - stable government - peaceful population - access to firearms - good medical system - popular culture similar to the US of the 1950’s - very friendly to Americans = COSTA RICA
Are there jobs for hard working, smart, ex-pats. I got a bit of a bankroll but not enough to survive what is coming like a freight train
I’d worry about the scale and defense capabilities of a small nation like Costa Rica. Larger unfriendlies nearby, both north and south, perhaps easily overrun.
Is kidnapping a problem there like it is in Mexico and much of South America?
